Discover Malaysia: A 3D Game About Every State

Discover Malaysia is a 3D game where children make their own traveller and fly a Wau Ship to tiny planets, one for every state and federal territory. Each planet has villagers to chat with, places to find, a kuiz with the local cikgu and a fallen star to collect.

As they play, they learn flags and capitals, local food, festivals, traditional clothes and new Bahasa Melayu words. Everything can be read in Bahasa Melayu or English, and read aloud.

What age is it for? Primary school children, especially 6 to 10. Children still learning to read can tap the speaker button to hear every line.

Is it free? Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Putrajaya are open to everyone with a free account. The other 13 states and territories open with All Access, along with every other book and game on Permata Nilam.

Is my child's progress saved? Yes. The journey is saved to your child's profile, so they can carry on from another device. Each child on an account has a journey of their own.

Does it work on phones and tablets? Yes. It runs in the browser on computers, tablets and phones, with touch buttons. Choose light graphics in Settings for older devices.

Can my child talk to strangers? No. There is no chat, no ads and no links out. The villagers in the game are written characters.
